Hey y'all! Happy Sunday, I hope your weekends have gone well so far. Another podcast, another blog post, so let's get into it!
Today's latest podcast for Bring it Black with our fabulous host Jenko featured guest Ms. NOIRE, also known as Temple Watkins, who is a U of I student actively passionate in the visual and musical arts. They covered the many meanings, histories, and hidden messages in colors that often influence how we think about things. Like why is black the color of funerals? It has so much more to offer! Did you know colors are influential in advertisments?!
Temple also talked about how when she was growing up she used her art to express herself, but art wasn't looked at like a sustainable path for her. Back in the day, art was just something to do on the side, but now she knows she do do it as her life. Check out the podcast to hear the whole conversation, it's a great listen! Write ya next time!
